  1. Amazing & scary rescue. Those waves & wind were no joke. I’m happy that everyone was safe. It’s nice to see the dogs owner had a life jacket for him too. ❤

  2. I think rescue swimmers are the bravest people alive. I am a poor swimmer but I can assure you I would not leave the boat or the ocean without my dog. God bless these brave heroes. God bless the man on the boat for taking care of his dog, and the dog for taking care of his human. This is just incredible to watch. ❤

  3. So glad to hear that they were both rescued. Kudos to the Coast Guard for the fantastic work that they do.

I do wonder, though, why he was out there on his boat in the first place. Unlike earthquakes and to some degree tornados, it's not as if there is no advanced knowledge of a hurricane.

  4. Both the man & his dog were important! Thank you for saving them. I was on a Siesta Key Beach Service catamaran sailboat, where the drain plug wasn't put in. We didn't notice it was sinking in the back, we were facing forward. Eventually it flipped with the 2 ft, pontoons up & dumped us. We were out in the Gulf of Mexico overnight. The life jackets were waterlogged. How did we make it back alive…….the tide miracle. I never allowed myself to panic or think of sharks. Panic will kill you!
