An animal rescue group was called to an area filled with abandoned houses. Nearby residents would hear the cries of animals at night. Despite the danger, they grabbed their cage and went in. The walls could easily fall on them at any moments but they only had the safety of a mother dog and her babies in mind.
The houses hadn’t been lived in for a long time. They entered a house with partial roof still intact and found the mother dog. She looked at the humans worryingly, knowing that if the humans were bad people, she could do nothing. As she was too weak to fight back. Thankfully, the humans were good and they were there to help.
One man stroke the mother dog’s head gently. And the mother dog was so scared that she didn’t dare to move on muscle. They gave the mother dog some food to gain her trust before taking her away. The mother dog didn’t want to get inside a cage at first because she didn’t want to leave her puppies behind. So the rescue workers had to console her and remind her that her puppies were coming with her.
You can see how good of a mother she is because despite not eating much herself, as evident by her body weight, she let her puppies nurse on her as much as possible so her puppies were plump and well taken care of. Do you think all stray dogs deserve a warm home with a complete roof?
