  1. so the dude is a former pj, that's like navy SEALs for the air force with the level and amount of training they go through but they do this to go into harm's way to save others… a very noble profession and those dudes are top shelf in my book… he's a floridian according to this news clip so he was well aware of gators lurking in just about any body of water there… i'm thinking that he consciously made a bad decision perhaps because he thought he could handle even a gator attack should it happen… he likely didn't anticipate that a 12' gator would do the attacking… i think that sometimes when you're part of the elite sof outfits you get in your head the idea that you're more invincible than other folks and when you're at that level this will actually make you better at what you do… however, predatory animals don't care about your notions and that's when a reality check happens… i still think this dude deserves much respect simply by his chosen military profession but he failed to exercise some basic common sense here… of course there might be other factors to this story not mentioned by this brief piece of news clip…

  2. The alligator was confused because he fought back. Something his prey probably normally don’t do. So he gave up and left. But he fought because he deep down wanted to be alive and that’s a blessing in itself. God granted that wish.

  3. A alligator bite can be stitched or stapled up like a dog bite. My neighbor's dog bit my leg and took a chunk out of it as I was trying to keep our dog away from him, cause he got bit on the face twice already. After I got bit, we reported the neighbors dog to the police and animal control and I went to the hospital to get 4 stitches. After the incident, the dog had to be in quarantine for14 days to made sure he didn't have raibies. The dog was updated on his rabie shots. A dog bite is not usually stitched up due to the bacteria in the dog's mouth.

  4. What was he thinking?! When i was just a boy everyone in Florida told me, no swimming in the lakes, don't even get close to the waters edge. He had to have known the dangers as a Florida native…

  5. Humans belong on land. Alligators in water, you don't have gills. You didn't evolve with gills. Stay away from water. You don't belong there, simple and now your life is ruined
