i watch transformers one it was🗿
We can’t reinforce that lie any longer. Animation is for all ages. Not kids only. Animation can do a lot of things that live action can’t do.
I think we need to separate the idea that being a piece of art for kids is a “bad product.” Kids have a right to good art, especially at that point in their life.
Whoever thinks that animation is just for kids should watch invincible because that animated show is pretty adult
Bro lego movie was peak
This is literally my dad's mentality, he really thinks animated movies are only just for kids 😭🙏
How do you feel about the kid/preschool "genre" know how to talk about the sensitive subject like autism and panic attacks better than most common live action shows.
Back in day the Adults and Kids didn't have separation in the media…we like what we see and that is that we can't be so darn picky
Animation is for everyone and animation takes hard work to create. Animation should be respected as much as live action films are.
My mom thinks most animated movies are boring but she liked transformers one. Of course one good animated movie will not change your mind and since there is no more local theaters in town, we will have to be picky.
I’m so glad neither my mom, or dad walked out of the wild robot, in the middle of it because it’s animated. We actually all ended up loving it, cuz we treat animation and live action equally.
Some of those movies from the years past compared to NOW are meh but some 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Im still not watching transformers One
The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf is one example of an R rated animated film.
GP just doesn't like good movies. They'd cross a busy interstate to watch a Minions movie.
Bruh people think a movie with cgi means it's for kids only. Plenty of live action movies have cgi too. "Wow I'm really loving Guardians of the Galaxy 3 such an amazing movi- Wait a minute is that cgi they're using!? THAT MEANS IT"S PART ANIMATED! OH MY GOD! THIS IS A KIDS MOVIE I TAKE BACK EVERYTHING I SAID THE STORY AND CHARACTERS MEAN NOTHING NOW!"
ANIMATION IS ALWAYS A MEDIUM FOR EVERYONE AND FOREVER CINEMA!!!!!!
While you made some great recommendations, I’d also suggest some brilliant animated films and series targeted towards an adult audience, like Arcane: League of Legends, Invincible, Scavengers Reign, Blue Eye Samurai, Akira, Perfect Blue, Flee, and Waking Life. Animated works don’t need to cater towards children, and can be made to entertain adult audiences.
If that’s so…
Hollywood! Gives us more Pg-13/R Rated animated movies with good writing!
Let get things clearly. im 30 yrs old, and im fine watching animated movies because is for all ages, and I'll count most underrated ones
-Khumba is based on African myth of how Zebra got stripes
-KOATI is about showcase of Latin America biodiversity
-Ainbo espiritu de las Amazonas is heartbreaking story of natives struggling is made in Peru which explains why is depressing 🇵🇪
Vivo is bittersweet story of carribian music that I laugh and even cry
Lego Batman too!
What happened with Inside Out 2 then?
Agreed! People need to learn that every upcoming animated movies aren't just meant for kids, they're for everyone of all ages!
I hyped up Into the Spider Verse to a coworker. He kept getting excited until I said it’s animated. I told him animation is different not better or worse than live action. He said “yea but still”. Another coworker shared the same sentiment.
Also leaving a movie before the second act is dumb.
I have 2 examples to mention: Kung Fu Panda 2 and Puss in Boots The Last Wish. One have a scene where the hero is traumatized by the memories of seeing his mother killed when he was a kid. The other shows the hero having a panic attack. How can people still consider these movies for kids, even though they contain scenes representing mature themes?
Imagine if the same thing happened with live action like imagine in another reality live action is a genre for kids but not considered a another way of creating a certain type of media
I mean they still payed for the tickets so all they did is screw themselves out of money and a good movie
