  1. When it becomes obvious that you can't deescalate, escape, or evade, then that's when a preemptive strike may be in order, possibly several …

  2. Picking a fight with skaters is a good way to get brane damage. They’re a sub-group who stick together. u pick on 1 & you’ll have 10 skateboards whizzing thru the air all aimed at ur head. Bad bad idea

  3. I'll only punch first if I believe the threat is well able to handle himself ie a boxer or some sort of fighting background. I come from a boxing and martial arts background (over 30 years) If the threat is calm when facing you, well you know it's a problem then.

  4. Please stop blurring the violent part. I would have to unsubscribe from a fighting channel that blurs fighting. Otherwise your content is good. Really don't want to unsubscribe.

  5. Help you all out a whole lot here on this topic …not sure why it's even being discussed honestly. I stuided kenpo Karate and Jeet Kune do and was taught self defnese in a easy way …. if you think you might be attacked follow these 3 rules. 1. make sure you are facing your possible attacker already somewhat in a side stance. 2. do not let them get any closer than the length of your leg 3. If they do attack meet that attack with a counter attack with a swift punishing side kick to the solar plexus area. The leg is longer than the arm and the key point is to not get in a distance where there is danger.

  6. When someone hits you it’s Assault.
When you hit back it’s a Fight.
I’d imagine if you hit someone First it’s be Assault as well unless someone was coming up to you after say for example going to the other side of street and they follow.
    Why would they follow you?
To attack you! To mug you! To HURT YOU!!!!!

  7. one of the first things i learned was if you feel threatened always strike first!
2nd thing, make sure they never want to ever even hear your name again!

  8. I always let them punch first

But my step back game is on point

I usually just let them throw and catch their shot while stepping with it to take the power off and then fire back an immediate counter

Don’t even have to throw it hard it usually drops them

  9. Assault= throwing but not landing a strike/punch. Battery= landing strikes/punches. That was what I learned back in Hi-School in Venice, Ca back in the 80's where I threw a rock at a security guards head, and missed. had the rock struck the guard, it would've escalated to battery. Cheers.

  10. While it's probably necessary in a YouTube video to talk about the legal aspects of striking first, the rule I learned more than forty years ago is very simple: strike first, keep striking until your assailant(s) cannot possibly harm you, and then get the heck out of Dodge. Arguing in a Court about whether or not you were justified in your actions is a losing proposition. The law is a joke, the police want a prosecution, the judge will be clueless, and the jury won't have a clue about real-world dangers. So avoiding the legal problems by leaving the scene asap is generally a good move. Better still if you have managed to note any CCTV cameras and positioned yourself appropriately to obscure your face. As for eye witnesses – unless they know you personally, for every three eye witnesses the police will get at least four totally different descriptions of events.

  11. Bro is telling us to commit battery. LO L.
Y’all, if dude comes up going bananas on you… don’t engage. Walk away. Try to leave.
Dude doesn’t want you to leave, he’s committed to violence against you for no reason, he’s a psycho? Do your best to absorb the first strike intelligently and respond (IF YOU CANT RUN AWAY).

    Don’t go to jail.
    Pass go, get $200.

  12. 1 reason to stop making blanket statements THEY ARE STUPID sometimes u go first sometimes second it all depends on situation and what is happening and has happened
