5. That looks so much like our Brooklyn girl. But Brooklyn is not that overweight. She's 17.5 years old, but it's still quite active. She gained weight when she was boarded for a month and obviously, she enjoyed some additional treats! She is currently the oldest animal at our vet. They love her there and she loves the vet! ❤

This is just a theory but I've met a lot of elderly ladies whose husbands have passed away so they choose to have a dog and they dote on the dog until poor doggie gets super super big and looks like a sausage. I have a feeling maybe she wasn't abandoned by her owner but maybe a child of the owner or wandered off after the owner passed away.
