Shame on the dodo and shame on Benjamin Berger for being so clueless in regards to the infection in the kittens eyes and allowing a very badly behaved child to yank the kitten out of the carrier and then you decide that’s a good home for the kitten? You guys are pathetic.

It’s ridiculous this man would break the bond between his daughter & that kitten? It’s heartless, she’s just a baby. When I was 3 years old my mom threw away my favorite blanket. When I saw the garbage man the next week I asked if he was bringing it back. It still hurts a bit to tell that story, but I know it’s human suffering we all go through. It was hard being a little girl because of dumb things like this so I really hope this man loses the huge ego & has some kind of understanding that you can’t break the bond of a baby & kitten & expect her to be okay. It isn’t right. I don’t know how anyone here doesn’t understand this as many are likely mothers, did you forget your childhood? How are you so unconscious of what you’re doing in your day to day life? I’m reading all these supportive comments about this & I don’t understand why it seems like most of you don’t have empathy toward the child at all, it’s like she isn’t there. I’m sorry for the rant, I just hate seeing things like this. It makes me sad.
Please have the parents tell that little girl not to yank kittens, or any animal, by the leg to lift them up. That's not right at all.

Brilliant outcome, but next time i suggest they get a trolley jack, like a mechanic has, jack the front of car up, and hey presto! you can retrieve kitty from inner bumper, without dismantling the whole front end. Just a thought.
In the cold months, I bang on the hood of my car to make sure that no animals get harmed when I turn my car on.

How could a vet say there was nothing wrong with him? He clearly has an eye infection in both eyes, and he does not look healthy. He probably has worms and upper respiratory infection. Find another vet.
