Even if they found it on undisputed ground, would you tell anyone the exact spot to look? I doubt very much the the area where the cairn is would be anywhere near where it was found. Doesn't make sense.

My friend found the "hand of faith" nugget. He found it while metal detecting in a vacant block in the main street before dinner time. I can't remember the town but I think it was Malden. They were retired and donated the money, around $300,00 to charity and kept travelling Australia. Cheers.

Do you think there would be any undiscovered or not yet properly searched area's in north west nsw. Not as far west as tibboburra like inbetween lightning Ridge and the range or west of lightning Ridge. It seems like an area too arid for the old timers to spend a lot of time searching.
