It took a year for this rescue dog to stop flinching away from her foster mom… and it was SO worth it.

Our producer Monica talked to Mable’s foster mom, Angela, about the magical moment Mable tried to play with her for the first time 💞

  1. I absolutely LOVE the time, effort, and care this woman put into rehabilitating this puppy love! What a beautiful doggo and human being ❤!

However, here's my Debbie Downer moment… This doggo potentially has to do this "trust" thing all over with another person. Having to experience that extreme fear again! Im going to try and believe that she has no memory of the abuse she suffered. ❤🥰.

  2. Really some people should literally go to hell for doing such bullshit things to innocent animals.
I hope many dogs like Mable get good owners like Angela 🙏.
I request the people in this community to be nice to stray animals and teach the same to kids and also help them in whichever way possible🙏

  3. My dog was kinda like this when we first rescued her. Shaking, tail between legs, not liking any human touch…
She was a really young puppy though, and warmed up to us pretty quickly as a result.

Still doesn't like being touched though if she isn't in the right mood, but we managed to mostly get her out of her shell!

  4. These videos make me so very happy, I hate that these sweet babies were put through anything they were put through before somebody saw them, but to watch them open up makes this day and every day a joy for them and me

  5. I felt really sad watching this, what the dog went through must have been unimaginable if that dog would have bitten me I would have forgiven her, I hope she finds peace x

  6. my family has had two strays that showed up in our yards over the years. They were very scared of us but after about a year, they got over their fears and turned out to be the most amazing, loyal dogs you could ask for – always trying to do the right thing, never wanting to run away and explore outside the yard but being totally content to stay with us always.

  7. It breaks your heart to see those beautiful eyes filled with fear I hope she now !earns that all humans are cruel 😢 A massive thank you Angela for your hard work ,love and caring 👍🏼 Ps your name is an anagram of a angel 👍🏼🤗🇬🇧

  8. Blessings and light to you for loving this beautiful dog and having the patience to help her to know love! People like you are better than any president, general, millionaire or saint!

  9. Great job Angela! By embracing Mable's with your patience and understanding, you won over her heart!
It's so cruel to know how people can be so mean to innocent animals, that they are wounded and scared so deeply.

  10. I took in a very abused 14 months old HUGE puppy. He was given away 4 – 5 times but immediately brought back due to his OCD neediness. I knew sooner or later someone would take him to the pound and they would kill him. I WAS professional dog trainer, but 45 surgeries with 46, 47, 48 being scheduled; plus the brain surgeries, I was falling a lot. And he kept jumping and jumping and jumping and jumping 24/7. He NEEDED attention! I tried. He was NOT mean! He was this 90 lbs of puppy who needed LOVE. I had friends and family saying just give him away. Twice his jumping on me sent me to the hospital by ambulance. I loved him but my health was/is to bad. I had this big handsome GSD 9 months. Finally a friend at church called someone she knew on the coast, and they were professional dog trainers, boarding facilities, etc. And they said they would take him, train him and then find him a home. Its been over 5 months and he is much better, but he is still in training. The psychological damage was that traumatic. So thank God for people like this woman, and that couple. I KNOW I failed him. So all you Karens shut up. My broken back again, broken shoulder replacements, etc, the pain of it when I hit concrete or ground, I gave up. But these types of people don't give up. God bless them!!! I USE to be like them. Now I am ti.
Ts on a boar hog! 😢 I quit. I failed him.
    😢

  11. I do not like it when dogs bark because my ears are sensitive, however, seeing a dog that was abused barking out because they're playful and not scared is absolutely beautiful and it brings me happiness. All dogs deserve the best
