It is not often that a sequel does just as well or even better than the original, but the Smile franchise has accomplished just that with the recently released Smile 2. In many ways it is bigger in scale than the first movie and has a better storyline as well even though the jump-scares have been toned down slightly. Another fascinating factor about the movie has been the hallucinations and visions that the victims of the smile curse, especially the protagonist of the movie Skye Riley, have been subjected to. In fact, it has raised a debate among the viewers regarding all the events that actually took place, and the others that have simply been hallucinations of the character. In this video, we will try to elaborate on the same for a better understanding of the movie. There will be some major spoilers along the way, so you have been warned!

Just got back home from watching this today with my mother in law and Jesus Christ I’ve always loved horrors and this creeped the shit out of me the hotel room surrounded by the dance team made my heart race
Everything after the scene where she was attacked by all the people in her apartment was a hallucination. Gemma was also a hallucination the entire time
– Obviously, Lewis' death is real, it's how the entity got Skye in the first place.
– You never actually answered if Morris is real or not which is the most questioned out of the entire film.
– The film literally devotes a scene to Gemma straight up saying she never showed up at Skyes apartment and hasn't spoken to her since their fight.
– Skye obviously didn't kill her mom because her mom is seen in the crowd at the show, as you mentioned.
If the death scene of Sky at the stage was real and the whole damn crowd witnesses this cruel suicide then if smile 3 drops out it will be a whole damn apocalypse like in the movie “birds in the box”

4:55 did she?? i just remember Gemma/the entity greating Sky`s mother. Sky`s mother didnt say anything to Gemma.
The Entity took over as she was about to text and she was living in her own mind while the Parasite Demon lives in her skin, doing all her rehearsals and press but locking Skye down in her own head. That is why the Entity said , I like being in your skin.

Gemma was never real. Sky's mother never greets Gemma. The fake Gemma does say "hi Elizabeth" to the mom but the camera cuts before the look replies back. Meaning Gemma wasn't real in that scene and was a fake out for the audience. When the real Gemma calls, that was the first time she had spoken to Sky
So do anyone have thoughts on the fact that in the first movie it was implied that it had to be 1 witness but at the end of the second it was many?
I was under the impression that h can only pass it on to one person and that person had to be the last survivor of the tragedy that someone created to save themselves or the one person to witness them kill themselves?
To me, everything was real (except Gemma) until she gets caught by the smiling horde in her apartment, after that, is all only in her head. The video says Elizabeth greets Gemma, but that's not true… only Gemma greets Elizabeth in the apartament (when Skye is late for whatever she has to do), and we DON'T hear an answer from Elizabeth, in fact the shot only shows Gemma when she greets, implying that only us and Skye can see her.
Skys mom never greeted Gemma, "Gemma" greeted Skys mom, but didn't even acknowledge that Gemma was even there
What if the demon is just misunderstood guys. It’s trying to help people get over their trauma, and when it’s done, it wants to go help someone else. It helped the First Lady face her fear of her mom in the end and it helped skye stop being selfish and take an act to help others in the end. And once it’s done it needs to help other people. Now it can help millions more!
Watching it the second time was way more fun because the demon low key has a sense of humor. Like pretending to be the assistant and forcing her to ask her for “surprise soda”, knowing full well she’s freaking out because she thinks just killed her mom? That’s funny
