  1. My state just gave beavers even more protection and reclassified them from a predator to a furbearer. Protected species where i live. Super important here.

  2. Overpopulation of any animal can be destructive to the local ecosystem; you shouldn't immediately freak out and get mad an animal is classified as a "nuisance" in a certain location because the reason why that even happens is to protect the balance of the greater ecosystem.

  3. Beavers are being helped. They get transfered out to the desert and within various years they have turned their area into wetlands with their habit of building dams

  4. Important Correction:
    Beaver are classified as furbearers.
(Making them a protected game species. No, you can't just kill one, whenever you wish. There's a trapping season, bag limits, etc.)
Poach one – you're going to be arrested.
    However:
    There are emergency exceptions:
IF they are CURRENTLY destroying crops / irrigation systems / doing other destructive things (such as daming/flooding homes,) they CAN be taken via permit as an "agricultural predators."
(This term means crop-predator, not a carnivore.)
Deer/rabbits etc, can have this status if they are doing widespread, unusual amounts of damage.
So no – people aren't just "encouraged to get rid of beavers."

If a beaver kit wandered up to people – it was abandoned by the parents. They chase out the sick.
It's cold-hearted, but, necessary to protect the healthy kits. Nature is cruel. People – can be kind. Bravo for the rescue.

  5. Is this the same Beaver the forest service tried to force the caregivers to release? 😩😟😭 Either way they fought it, everyone supported the beaver caregivers and even the Governor stepped in and they don't have to! 🥰 At least not YET! 😰The beaver in the story could not have survived. Look it up, let's not forget. Why the forest service cares so much they waste resources to force their will on people I do not know! 😡

  6. Omg Tulip is so cute. And the parts where she has the onesie on and scratching herself all over, it’s sad she’s so itchy, but she looks so cute doing that. I’m so glad I came across your channel. Wish I found it sooner but so cute and I definitely liked and subscribed

I don’t know how you could release her after three years of loving her like you do. I don’t think I could do it. I think it would break my heart even though it’s the right thing to do. What you do is amazing. Thank you.
