When Mother Nature unleashes her full power, it’s not a pretty sight. That’s why one of the
things that policemen are counted on for is helping those in need during a natural disaster,
and these cases highlight that.

Homie who looked at his camera saying “YALL SEEING THIS?” is such a beast. Not only did he nearly die, but he walked out in the storm to guide people in the warmth of a car❤
My heart goes out to all those affected by natural disasters❤😢
Being from Canada and watching the blizzard footage from Buffalo, I could feel the cold, especially with the wind whipping like it was. You don't know cold until you've been in a situation like that. I doesn't even have to be that cold but with that much snow blowing accumulating and blowing around it makes your bones ache. My hat's off to the officer that walked those people's vehicles out to safety. That is exactly what needed to be done. We've done that before when I was a kid in Saskatchewan. I remember one winter my mom pulling me and my two brothers in what arguable was a 2 kid sled. My two brothers were practlcally on top of each other and then I was stuffed in the middle. We were trying to make it home from a friend of mom's house where we'd been stuck over night.
When we started out there was a bunch of snow on the ground but before long the wind picked up and you absolutely literally couldn't see 3 feet in front of you. There was one point when a truck was coming up behind us, mom didn't hear it and next thing we knew it hit a patch of ice under the snow and was literally sliding sideways down the street at us. (This wasn't because of us… we were on the road but at the side.)
The two men that were in the truck couldn't push and get it turned straight so they popped us 3 kids in their truck, got mom in behind the wheel to press the gas (when needed – there is an art to driving in those conditions) and steer. From there they offered to drive us home, but knowing what we all knew, they followed us instead, which got them onto a main road that had been groomed in the past 24 hours. Still had over a foot of snow on it, but it was better than the 2 feet or more elsewhere. Mom had told them her and my dad's names before we saw them off. A week later, pizzas, pop and a huge thank you was sent to us from them. Mom, dad and the two men still keep in touch to this day, which is how we hear the story so often, haha. I was about 4 or 5 yo at the time so I recall it, but not as clearly as my older brothers and mom.
When I was in my early 20's, I moved to Vancouver Island which is much warmer (southern and eastern side rarely see much snow). It felt tropical to me for the first winter. I remember going outside for smoke breaks with my coworkers at that time. They'd be bundled up and hurrying, meanwhile I'd be there in my short sleeved dress. They'd look at me like I was crazy until they learned I'd grown up and moved there from Saskatoon, haha. It didn't take long to get used to the new temps and when I moved to Alberta 10 years later, I felt like a big wimp, remembering how -20C was on the brink of getting cold and now -5C was brutal! I've been back in Alberta for 22+ years and can tell stories again about how cold -20C and down is really awful, as opposed to -5C those years ago.
Everyone who is willing and able is called to duty in the event of an emergency.
All the Officer's and Emergency Services were amazing but have to say the McDonald's Car Park with people trapped in upturned cars was just like Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs. No matter what the Weather some people just want to go to Heaven with a Burger in their hands.
Are we not gona talk about the tank in the tital?
0:03 “Sucked me in” Ayooo 😂😂😂😂😂 Pause
Blizzard officer was amazing. Level headed & calm ❤
28"05 only time ive heard someone say thankyou for being put in the back seat of a police car lol.
My teenage children and I evacuated our home during a wildfire years ago. Driving out that night through the flames and falling ash is something I will NEVER forget. We had enough time to get our two cats and a few belongings out. Our home ultimately survived intact. We were lucky.
Incredible respect for those who go into these fires to work and save. Such courage and greatness of heart.
Why don’t people just walk their horses out?
So at the same time the first video is going on, there was also a fire in Clearlake, Calistoga and Sonoma Valley. Was very windy and this was what spawned the public safety power shut offs. The fountain grove area was gorgeous
God bless our officers 😊
Unbelievable disasters. We just experienced a hurricane here in Florida. We didn't have to evacuate because we are not in a flood zone we are way above sea level. I believe the Hurricane was called Helene. After it was pretty much over, the devastation was terrible. Flooding, debris all over, trees down, huge branches down, just a real mess. Thank you to the Fire Department and Police Department and EMS and hospitals for helping with the unfortunate people who lost so much. We did have deaths, approx. 23 last I knew. I live in Pasco County, which it was coming for us, but we didn't get the worse, it was bad though. When it hit ground it was 70 mph winds and so many feet of water. Thanks to all those people thar risk their lives every day to help others in need. People need to evacuate when they are told to and that's a big problem because people don't want to leave and I understand, but they need to follow instructions to keep safe and shelters take animals too.
Kudos to all these brave officers for risking their lives to help their communities during tragic moments like this ❤ granted that’s what they do for a living, but it takes guts to face Mother Nature like these cases and these officers deserve the praise for saving the lives of these civilians ❤ anyone who tries to say “defund the police”, show them videos like this. This is what they signed up for, facing danger be it crime or natural disasters to help protect their communities
"Sucked me in " hahaha
It scared me watching the cops drive into those wildfires to rescue people!!
I’ve never been in a blizzard, but one on Christmas Day definitely sucks!!
