  1. Why is it women in particular who are singled out as the villains whenever there is a tragedy on the mountain? This footage shows numerous other climbers continuing their climb as well – not just the Norwegian woman. As well as this, it was reported that those trying to help the stricken climber told others a rescue party were heading up to them, and so most thought the situation was in hand.
So why single out the woman only?

  2. I mean the dude had a family n it is tragic, absolutely, but if someone stopped to help him, they would have fallen too. They're at the most dangerous part of K2, and sitting just above the is a glacier that could literally fall at any moment unannounced. I wouldn't help him either.

  3. No excuse for not trying to help someone, i know its dangerous but she was more concerned with her summit attempts! What a horrible person, id rather abort tge summit and try and help

  5. Lazy journalism is like a cancer in today's world. Intentionally stirring up a frenzy when the real reasons for his death are much less interesting. Just spend 30minutes researching it and it becomes clear the his climbing company shouldn't have put him in that position, he was far too inexperienced without correct gear. Journalists should also be held to account for their constant baiting

  6. Helping other people while climbing Mt. Everest is one of the fatal mistakes people make. That can cost them their lives…. Especially in the death zone… There are a lot of amateur climbers that shouldn't be on the Mountain at all….but it's a business and companies are greedy.

  7. Few sports if any have such internecine fighting. The debates and disputations among the several expeditions involved in finding the remains of Mallory and Irvine (almost 100 years of intrigue, claim and counter claim), and then the acrimonious ‘postmortem’ into the 1996 tragedy (Everest again) just scratch the surface.

  8. The people that say anything about this doesn’t know up there if u can’t bring yourself down the mountain then your pretty much dead. It’s sad but it’s true. Unless u have 3 or 4 Sherpa people strong Sherpa people maybe they can bring u down but energy then they would be risking there lives .

  9. If this is true then the woman should be ashamed. Good morals and Godliness must kick in and overtake selfish goals. On a much lesser extent a father and daughter were found lost in low cloud whilst attempting Snowden, wearing flip flops and t'shirts, their shouts for help could have easily been ignored….as they could not see their rescuer….but who does this?? This person is someones family and whilst it is sometimes easier to pass by with your own self important quest! there is always a bitter taste for those who fail to do an act of kindness and to help those in need. It shows a lack of good origin, and a severe lack in empathy and truth.
