1. Unbelievable that he went through all of this and STILL doesn’t believe in God. I’m 40 and was an agnostic my entire life up until a few months ago. I’m now in the process of becoming Catholic and have finally accepted God. I’ll pray for him.

13. I think if I'd experienced what he did as someone who wasn't spiritual, an atheist, not religious or "culturally prepped", I'd re-evaluate my belief system. I'd take someone less seriously if they'd experienced all that and was already religiously inclined.

You all are trashing on him because he was upset to see his father? Yet you neglect to realize this man may have had trauma or was going through some emotional turmoil before he had that NDE and maybe seeing his own father after feeling he had been abandoned hurt him. Either way you all need to show this man some grace and need to have some more empathy in your hearts rather than judgment.

    Also for the people saying that black pit he was experiencing was hell, research other peoples NDE’s there have been people have found themselves in black pits or black spaces but it wasn’t a place of torment rather it was a place of unconditional love, each person has their own personalized death experience to help them transition to the other side and to completely assume that guy was going to hell just because he was going into a black pit is extreme illogical. Notice how he said his father was ready to guide him to the afterlife? Why would his father be ready to guide him to the after life if he was going to hell?
