I choose to be homeless for 3 months so I could keep my dog because the new place I moved into all of a sudden changed their mind about my dog and told me I had to get rid of her. I ended up living in my van for 3 months until I could find somewhere suitable for my dog and I. A dog is part of the family in my eyes and getting rid of a dog would be like losing a family member.
After finding out that black dogs 🐶 and 🐈 cats are the last one to be adopted.
I specifically went to my local animal shelter looking for a black dog 🐕 that was big enough to jump on the sofa by himself but small enough I could pick him up and walk away with him.
Arthur a black Pug mix was sitting in his pen just waiting for us.
When we saw him and agreed to adopt him we were told he was originally picked up as a stray. Then a family came in and adopted him.
They brought him back the next day because he got in a fight with their dog.
Another family adopted him for their kids.
They returned him two days later because he hates kids and he bites.
We got him home 🏠 and on the 3rd day a friend was visiting us.
She'd been warned about Arthur biting as she was leaving he came up behind her and bit her on the leg.
She's suing me and claims she has PTSD now because every little dog 🐶 she sees is going to bite her. She's acting like she was mauled by a pitbull terrier.
Of course Animal Control was notified and we're told this is his last chance.
We've had him a year now and this is his forever home even though he's bitten me too.
He just needs lots of love and patience.
Arthur is usually a very sweet little man!

The world is such a mixture of bad and good but the bad just breaks my heart! However I try to remember the good and leave the bad where it belongs with the ugly people that did this.

What a love bug. How does someone leave a dog behind. So cruel to not only leave him behind, but no food or water. I am so glad the person in the apt. complex called and this baby was saved. To the people that left him you don't deserve any animals or children. What you did was cruel and irresponsible.

Sad, He likely was left behind because he wasn't aggressive enough, sadly a lot of people want their pitbulls to be mean and if they they don't measure up to their expectations of how they imagine it ought to behave, they will do terrible things to them, like beating them and/or abandoning them.😞

This should be prosecuted. I'm concerned that these Tiktok dog rescue stories encourage ignorant fools to abandon their pets because there is sure to be a happy ending. What % of abandoned dogs dont get rescued?

It makes me so angry that some pet owners just leave their pets to fend for themselves. Or they leave them in a house or yard with no way to get food or water. People like that should be fined for neglecting their pet. Thankfully people complained about the dog barking. Now this precious dog has a new forever home with people who will love and take care of him. Go live your best life fur baby,

I’ve got Pit-ball cross American Staffordshire. Brother and Sister…Yup very bad idea having a brother and Sister. But God gave us this plan. I had Purchased Susie my Girl .❤ Golden Brindle darkening at the her Going to a dark brindle and almost black face. Absolutely beautiful looking fit strong she is only 22kg but just 100% full athletic muscular girl. Highly protective of her family, extremely intelligent. And Alfa Dog over Her Brother Henry. Now Henry came into our life under hugely sad circumstances. His owner was arrested in Western Australia 🇦🇺…long story….. The police and Guards all assured him that I’d be contacted to help feed the mother Dog and assist look after the last puppy. Henry. Henry was 10 weeks when his owner was in the BIG HOUSE… Come 3 weeks he finally calls me asking how are the doggies…I’m like WTF WHT YA MEAN.? LONG STORY SHORT NO ONE KNEW ANYTHING THAT HAD HAPPENED…HENRY AND MUM NO FOOD ANDVA TAP LEAKING 1 drop every 5 seconds water 💧. HENRY WAS EXTREMELY EMACIATED. PELVIS. RIBS , SPINE, OMG MY HEART WAS BROKEN..IM A TATTOOED HARD AUSSIE BLOKE…. NOTHING MUCH GETS ME EMOTIONAL…BUT THR TEARS . I COULD NOT CONTROL THE TEARS THINKING OF THE ORDEAL BETWEEN MUM AND SON DOGGIES.
I GOT HENRY AND MUM HOME. AND SPENT AROUND THE CLOCK CARE… THOSE DOGS WERE COUPLE DAYS MAYBE LESS AS THEY WERE DYING OF STARVATION…SOMETIMES THE MOTHER DOG WILL TO SURVIVE EAT THE PUP…..BUT HENRY IMWAS SO AMAZING..AT FIRST HE WAS NOT LOOKING THE BEST.. BUT AFTER 2 weeks there was no stopping Henry from today he is 43 kg. Big boy. Nuded…DONT want brother sister puppy’s?? Ok cool !
The owners should be arrested for animal cruelty.

When the housing bubble burst many people lock their dogs in the house and Realtors are Bank officials would come by weeks or months later and find dead dogs. Some people even lock them in internal closets so they couldn't be heard barking. Some of them had ripped the paper off the wall to try to eat the glue, which to them by that point smells like food. Awful awful people. Why not just let the dog go on the street and have a chance at life
