Leopard geckos are great too, at least that was my first lizard. My second lizard was a crested gecko, and they are a bit harder but just barely. They’re still very easy to
Agreed
Nope you cannot change my mind bearded dragons are the best
What about leopard geckos?
Not a bearded dragon?! BLASPHEMY!
Nah beardies are so good for beginners don't listen to this
Berdies are awesome in my opinion
Is a crested gecko also a ok first lizard?
I started with a uromastyx but I didn’t have enough time to properly tame him so I got a crested gecko and rehome him: they are awesome!
my first lizard was a chameleon ;3
Got a gargoyle gecko when i was ten and it was amazing, i wanted a rat but my mum is terrified of rodents so she got me a gargoyle gecko instead, 15 years later, i gave still got him, his name is bob
My first lizard was an iguana but not intentionally. He was dumped on the side of the road in a dog crate. A FULL GROWN IGUANA. My aunt found him and called my parents.. we had an iguana and he was great. Super chill dude, i loved him. We built him a huge enclosure in the basement with a giant heat lamp. We took him outside regularly to get that good uv. He never ran from us or tried to escape the backyard. He would just climb a fence post and bask in the sun. He would also hang out with us upstairs damn near daily for HOURS. iggy was awesome
Welp in Australia unfortunately it's iligall to keep geckos in Logan
I’m 10 years old with a bearded dragon and yes, it is very hard to take care of
the first one i had was one of those random browm geckos that stick tp the walls as 'pests'. lil timmy was adorable back then, lived for a week, until my father used the slipper. you will be missed.
❤
I just got my first pet and it’s a bearded dragon. It is not that hard to take care of. In my opinion.
I would say that uromastyx are also pretty good starters. I have a morrocon and he's a gem to work with
Or just get a leopard gecko
I want a big fat leachie so dang bad bro
My lizard is pregnant
i had a bearded dragon as my first and it was hard because i was 10 and i lost her a few times and had her for like 2 years and she died now i have a crested gecko
In my opinion I think the monitors water monitors are the easiest after you get them a little big off the pinkies and then you can start feeding them chicken which is a lot cheaper than buying 10 me a week to feed a 4-foot monitor it would cost me for the chicken 4 hours a month plus the eagleville places in the they have old stuff how to date as long as it's frozen but they're a lot cheaper all the vegetables and stuff you got to buy and then they go bad can I put them in the freezer play cicada tortoises do you know they cost more money than anything collard greens romaine lettuce 2 weeks you don't have to worry about it I'm going to have water in the humidity I always put a tub of water in there with a filter 20 gallon tub of water it's a lot easier
Yea for 500$
What about helmeted geckos
In my opinion it’s a Cunningham skink they do get big and get stick in a lot of areas but other than that they are very fun and nice lizards
leos are good starter lizards too
I like anole lizards as a starter pet
While I agree Beardies aren’t a good starter, I don’t regret getting my Bearded Dragon as my first reptile. He’s such an idiot and I love him for that😂
I got leopard geckos. They’re pretty good first lizard pets. Stupidly easy to take care of.
You said lizard to be honest the right answer is blue tongue skink
Um would the Blue tongued skink be a good beginner pet lizard because I was quite interested in them.
