My dog and cat did the same thing. My cat was scared at first but eventually was curious to see my dogs , one was older that I have had for a long time and one was just a puppy. My older dog licked her and didn’t bother much but my puppy whos now three would bother her so much. They would chase each other around and play. It was awesome

We have a dog and a cat together and they are like sisters. Apart from the fact that they behave similar to the ones in the video, the dog is the only member of the family who, when he comes to the cat, never runs away from him and starts licking him. I'm in second place with almost always, because the cat and I were the only ones at home the first full day after we brought her as a kitten and the others went to get the dog. I saw them playing outside, one moment the dog was chasing the cat and the next minute the cat was chasing the dog. Now they are 6, they don't play that much anymore, but when it comes to the bed or the couch, they are very cooperative there. And then I also see on the cat that when the dog goes somewhere with someone and I look after the cat all weekend, it is much more cuddly, because she doesn't have a dog to go to with her.
