  1. edited album reaction will be on the channel tomorrow! has to be edited for copyright and timesake. Unedited video on patreon along with blocked chromikopia album review. link in bio!

  2. Its crazy your not the biggest reaction channel. I always love hearing your take on songs. I feel like you break things down and explain them far better then anyone else because you do it in your own style rather then a this is right this is wrong type of way that probably doesnt make any sense but it just drives me crazy when they go bar for bar and try to say exactly what it means

  3. The first person he was talking about was John Lee hooker the second was Billie holiday the last person was him all if was was supposed to be the devil reincarnated over and over until he finds forgiveness

  4. Yall missed the Bible verse

Read Isaiah 14 starting at verse 12 it’s talking about satan before the fall when he was adorned in jeweled clothing and glory

This is why in the song the voice of God c starts listing off colors , the colors are some of the ones found on the brestplate of the high priest .

  5. Not being reincarnated to black bodies only. Remember during reincarnation you don't get to select the body, but the skill set , talent and abilities continue to grow per each reincarnation

  6. Song is from satan view. It’s satan talking about his experience living through people. When it comes to Kendrick is satan taking responsibility for what he has done and wanting to be better asking god for advice. “Fell out of heaven” “greatest music director was you”. Literally tells you in the song who it’s about

  7. He’s talking about John Lee hooker the original boogeymen from California and Billie holiday who died from a drug overdose, John Lee hooker was a blues guitarist

  8. Man everyone really misunderstands Kendrick on this. He literally says it.

“I did past life regressions last year and it f*cked me up”

He obviously did some hallucinogens and tried to experience his part lives. And this song is where he feels comfortable to express his own disgust with his failings as a human

  9. This whole album HAS TO WIN dm near EVERY award next year. Ive heard em all since the early 80s…and this, imo, is right there with the top 5 hip hop albums of all time. From production to depth of lyrics, schemes and flow switches and DIVERSITY…this is EASILY his best album and like i said, imo, already top 5 of all time.

  10. The song is a combo sample from "made niggas" and "gonna fly now" from the rocky soundtracks.
The guy might he is talkin about MIGHT be…Muddy Waters he was from Michigan and was once considered the top in RnB. The woman might be Etta James…she worked the chitlin circuit and battled with drug addiction which ultimately killed her.

  11. The concept suggests that Satan reincarnates into the bodies of musicians, using their God-given talents to destroy them. Eventually, he is reincarnated into Kendrick Lamar. While in Kendrick’s body, Satan attempts to repent and seek God’s approval. However, God reminds him of his true nature, referencing Isaiah 14. Notably, Kendrick doesn’t provide a specific verse, encouraging readers to study the entire chapter, which reveals Satan’s intentions.

Satan, already defeated, tries to control Kendrick. Yet Kendrick, while under this influence, seeks to separate himself from Satan’s destiny. A key distinction arises: when other musicians die, the term “reincarnated” is used, but for Kendrick, it’s “carnated,” implying he continues to live. This aligns with Kendrick’s declaration: “I rewrote the devil’s story just to take our power back,” signifying his defiance and shift in Satan’s demise.

  12. after listening to this shit multiple times,…..he is without a doubt rapping from the spirit of the devil(not so much "evil", but "the fallen angel") from the start to end, thats' why he has the voice with pent up rage. the first verse gives it all away, but you won't catch that part unless you think about the one being "reincarnated" as the spirit of the fallen angel.
his beef with his father (god) is why all of his past reincarnations die tragic deaths. kendrick is saying his incarnation is the one to bring the devil redemption, and by doing so saving us from his influence(music). the major tells are the discord/banishment between the creative musicians in each life and their father figure(in every verse), and also the level of ambiguity in the first half of the first verse(before he mentions 1947 the character could be anyone). most of us assumed he's rapping as tupac because of the cadence, but now i think hes rapping as the devil , but still using the style of one of his past lives(specifically 2pac). this song blows my mind, because he not only makes the devil sympathetic, and relate-able,…..which is something i have honestly never seen done this well, but it also makes me want to see the fallen angel's redemption arc.

  13. Valid ass hatred for the simple fact DRAKE put that man's whole family in danger by offering money and Bitcoin. Like Dot said before he call a truce he taking Drake to hell with him.
