As a European (Swedish) I'm a bit confused. NYC, Philadelphia and Chicago all claim to have the best traditional street food of the nation. The only part of the US I've tried tried street food in is Fla. Where should I go next for great traditional American street food?

Been going to this place since I was a kid. At least 50 years. Originally on Halsted, but after the redevelopment of this area Jim's moved to 1250 S. Union. Walking distance from UIC.
