21. I’m can’t believe that they put that dog down simply because they didn’t have the time or patience to work with him so he can be adopted. They could’ve reached out to other rescues who would be able to rehabilitate him. And they did t prosecute that woman when she admitted to hurting them, the result is the dog was put down and no consequences to that person for the dog having to die for her actions, so disappointed in the spca

22. If the spca kills animals because they have been abused and are not allowed time to decompress what good are tgey. Very sad to see this. I will no longer watch spca youtubes.

23. No offence but taking an abused dog and putting him in kennel with limited human contact can’t be good. Then putting him down because he had a bad reaction is just heartbreaking. Why not spend that time getting him acclimated to humans or fostering him to someone who had the time and patience? RIP sweet little boy 😢

29. I can't believe the Australian SPCA is still so backwards they have never heard of rehabilitation. An abused animal should NEVER be assessed that quickly. It can take months and yrs to rehabilitate. The poor thing is terrified and needs to be fostered in a home until he is ready to trust.

32. It breaks my heart when a companion has to be killed because of people abuse, it's not their fault, that is why I support animal no kill rescue shelters, not the SPCA.

    For the health of everyone’s pets. Please read the book “Food Pets Die” For by Ann N. Martin. (Don’t use the recipes in the back though because they are not balanced). Also, look up Susan Thixton. Dogs and cats can live much longer than what you think is long. Kibble keeps animals alive but the animal is not thriving. It creates degenerative diseases (diabetes, arthritis, atherosclerosis, osteoporosis, cancer, kidney, allergies and declining cognitive function and more) that show up later and owners put it down to old age. Feeding kibble, a highly processed food, puts your pets in a state of constant inflammation. Please educate yourself and don't be brain-washed by big commercial food companies and Big Pharma that fund vet schools. Kibble is dead food with no living enzymes. It is not human grade food. You need to feed your animals human grade food. Kibble is made from euthanized animals including your pets, from diseased and slaughtered animals from road kills and they even add feces and a lot worse stuff. There have been many recalls regarding pentobarbital (the drug used for euthanizing pets) found in commercial pet food. Big pet food companies lace the kibble with addictive stuff such as fats and more, to MAKE your animals eat the garbage, otherwise pets would not eat the stuff. Take control of your pets’ lives and your own because food companies do it to people too. PLEASE FEED YOUR PETS A SPECIES APPROPRIATE DIET, which is basically a balanced raw food diet. If you do not know what this is, please research and educate yourselves then pass on the information to other people. You can start with Dr. Karen Becker DVM regarding raw feeding for pets. Never stop educating yourselves in regards to proper nutrition for your pets. Remember, cats are obligate carnivores. Watch Pottenger’s cats on youtube. A ten year study on nutrition.
