In a country like Kenya, for example, great value is placed on their livestock. It is people's "wealth." The shepherd won't dare. In over 20 years, an elevated railway line was built there that no elephant or others can climb. There are many underpasses that are used by all animals. This would not be possible in countries with a very large rail system. There may have been unpleasant noises along the tracks, but what company spends such an enormous amount of money?!!! Yes, this is our life that we have created for our convenience.

Animals don’t have common sense for certain things. Unfortunate to watch.
In holland we have fences and/or ditches along every single foot of railway.
In urban districts there are fences and only can pass it by a safe railwaycrossing,ie where are signals and booms to warn and stop traffic for an incoming train.
I really do not understand why in India and such countries people and animals can walk around and over the railways as they please.
If we try such stupidity in our country and survive we get a mental check to see if we are suicidal.
