โ–  TIBET CAMP, MUSTANG: Whilst us foreigners may look at Nepal and think it’s a small homogenous country with one culture, language and ethnic group, that is not true at all. Nepal is instead comprised of many different ethnic groups often even their own distinct language.

Some of these people have been where they live now for centuries like the Thakalis you see here in the 2nd part of the video in Marpha.

Others like the Tibetans whose village I visit first, are more recent arrivals.

Luckily for us, all were eager to show us their homes and living situation.

  3. Great video harald and Sunil, word to the wise when you ride a bus always sit in the front/middle section. Thereโ€™s a reason the back was reserved back in the day.
