11. I used to work on the ferries between Dover and France when I was a student, and at times the crew were so pissed that they would set sail without casting off first, snapping the steel lines that secured the ferry to the wharf…..really crazy!
    I always thought that sailing with the bow doors open to clear the fumes from the ferry was not a good idea,but the car drivers would never switch off their engines as requested when loading or off-loading….hence the tragedy on the sands. A sharp turn and a big gust of wind at the wrong time. Luckily I was not on board that day. RIP the souls that lost their lives that day.

43. 2:28 wasn’t crashing or nothing gone wrong, those are drag chains hitched to ships when they are launched to slow them down and actually it’s the same type of system that was used when Titanic and Olympic where launched and the method dates back even farther to the wood frigates and sailing ships in the 18th and 17th centuries
