10 Most Devastating Natural Disasters That Could Happen In 2024

Spread The Viralist

Life is inherently unpredictable, and we can never know for certain what may cause the end of humanity. 2024 has already seen a string of catastrophic natural disasters with far-reaching consequences. In April, heavy rainfall brought widespread disruption to the Gulf region, forcing schools to close, roads to collapse, and transportation services to be suspended in Dubai, Oman, Bahrain, and Qatar. The impact was particularly severe in France, where Cyclone Belal caused over $108.3 million in damages. In southern China, Tanzania, and several East African countries, deadly floods have claimed hundreds of lives and caused hundreds of millions of dollars in damages. And in North America, wildfires have been raging across California, burning over 8,000 hectares of land and affecting the homes of nearly 1,200 people. Texas has also been ravaged by its largest wildfires in history. But the worst may be yet to come. Experts warn that the second half of 2024 could bring even more catastrophic events, threatening the very fabric of our existence. Join us today as we dive into the most anticipated natural disasters that could strike in the coming months and the science behind them.
You might think of natural disasters as sensationalized clickbait that gets you to watch videos, but the reality is far more devastating. As our team at Insane Curiosity worked on this video, India was hit by one of the most catastrophic natural disasters of the year. And here’s how that went down. On July 30, 2024, a series of landslides struck the Wayanad district in Kerala, India, with devastating consequences. The early morning hours brought heavy rains that triggered the collapse of hillsides, unleashing torrents of mud, water, and boulders onto the villages of Punjri Matom, Mundakkai, Chooralmala, Attamala, Meppadi, and Kunhome. The tragedy resulted in at least 359 reported end of life over 273 injuries, and 206 people still missing, making it one of the deadliest natural disasters in Kerala’s history. This disaster is just one of many extreme weather events that have ravaged India in recent years, serving as a stark reminder of the destructive power of nature. Now, let’s look at the most predicted natural disasters in the coming months.

  1. Hey Insane Curiosity Squad! If you liked the video, we would love for you to share it with your friends or on other social networks like Facebook, Reddit Instagram, Tik Tok and Twitter, etc.. ( Since the algorithm is not cooperating in showing us to the public😅). In just 30 seconds, you will greatly help our Channel to grow and improve our future content. A big thank you from all of us.

  2. thank you, we can prevent these phenomena like cyclone by using this hot seasonal atmospheric condition, recent years in summer geothermal happen in surface of coastline, there are many countries in coastline with seasonal hot weather and water condition by using this energy not only is economy but also reduce global warming like Japan, China, Mediterranean countries, Iran, Mexico, Us, Canada, (Africa and Arabian countries….) that I mentioned in my profile.

  3. As you may remember I'm the author of the recent book GRID Going Down When NOT If. One catastrophic event you left out is the Canary Island event which happens every 2000 years when the entire seawall collapses into the Atlantic Ocean creating a massive tsunami that would reach from Jacksonville FL to Boston. Of course there is the ever present Yellowstone Caldera with its recent event in Jackson Hole.

  4. In 2012 can't remember the exact date either June or July of that year if I recall correctly, unannounced to most the world with out being told by the governments there was a huge solar flare that was coming for us and goverment officials and all those important people took shelter in bunkers bc it was going to cause society to clapse if it hit but before it hit us something unnaturally moved it out of our path or moved us out of its, I strongly beleive we are being protected by alien life… even in Russia when that comet broke up in the sky breaking windows all over you could see on the video of it something flew through it and caused it to break up & it sure in the heck wasn't our technology that did that

  5. I'm not exactly a silver lining kind of person, but what if the answer to Fermi's paradox is that, yeah, life is not all that uncommon in the universe, but that we're just awesome, and all the other life in the universe is just dumb as shit? I propose it.

  6. With a toba volcano keep in mind that the eruption described in the video is a WORST case scenario, when it does erupt it might be far smaller then a super eruption

  7. Untill unless, Bull Bullock Cow Calf Buffalo (BC misread as Before Christ), Ayaran Gundi Daruvidian (AD misread as After Death) April Fool Universe collapse nothing will happen.

    Note it in your diary.

  8. Great video and I have already experience many natural disasters in my life with two major hurricanes like Gloria and Sandy that destroyed my basement and two expensive cars !
