The Almighty Leroy’s *Fallout* comics are a delightful tribute to the beloved *Fallout: New Vegas* universe, blending the post-apocalyptic aesthetic with humor and deep lore. Centered around the titular character Leroy—a scrappy, Vault 22-dwelling scavenger with a penchant for getting into trouble—the comics transport fans back to the Mojave Wasteland. The humor is sharp and loaded with Easter eggs, such as Leroy’s recurring bickering with Yes Man or his hilariously bad luck with Deathclaws near Quarry Junction. Fans of the game will appreciate how Leroy embodies a Wild Wasteland perk personality, finding himself in bizarre situations like helping a misfit Brotherhood of Steel Paladin repair a Mr. Handy using spare parts from REPCONN Headquarters.

What makes these comics stand out is their attention to the finer details of the *New Vegas* world. Leroy’s adventures are sprinkled with iconic items and references that make fans nostalgic. He’s often seen wielding his trusty Caravan Shotgun, wearing a patched-up NCR trooper uniform, or bartering for Nuka-Cola Quantum in Freeside. The strip frequently takes readers to familiar locales, from the Lucky 38 to Camp McCarran, and even the less glamorous Prospector Saloon in Goodsprings. The dialogue is peppered with iconic lines like “War… war never changes,” often delivered ironically as Leroy botches another stealthy infiltration attempt or accidentally triggers a Fiend ambush. The use of classic soundtrack titles, such as Leroy humming “Big Iron” while dodging a Radscorpion or lamenting “Johnny Guitar” during a particularly melancholic strip, ties everything back to the game’s atmosphere.

Quirks abound in Leroy’s escapades, making the comics irresistibly fun for fans. The Almighty Leroy plays with RPG mechanics hilariously, like showing Leroy accidentally overburdened with Sunset Sarsaparilla bottles, losing karma for stealing a box of Sugar Bombs, or relying too much on the Mysterious Stranger perk during his fights. The character’s perpetual bad luck with the casino tables on the Strip is another recurring gag, as Leroy tries his hand at Blackjack at Gomorrah only to end up broke and fleeing bounty hunters from the Tops. The comic also shines in its portrayal of unique companions; from a reprogrammed Protectron named Primm Slim to an adorably glitchy Eyebot that keeps playing “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head” at the worst times. These idiosyncrasies make the comics not just a tribute, but a heartfelt celebration of everything that makes *Fallout: New Vegas* unforgettable.

  3. I really like your black & white art style! Something i recommend you test out with your art is trying to do a gradient effect (i sometimes like to draw a black & white art piece, then add in colors to emphasize segments. I'd use red/orange for busy sections and blue/green for lighter sections)

  4. I'm gonna be honest with the ncr ending. They are the best because they have the least problems. Houses machine may keep him alive but we don't know if he'll fall back asleep again ir if the machine might backfire and kill him one day. The Yes Man ending just created more Chaos. And the Legion ending is just straight awful for every group in the game as they are enslaved and killed. Also, if they are the canon ending in the game that means they could've survived in the Mojave and could still handle themselves. Also, Victor is programmed to help you if your in trouble at the beginning game but you managed to defeat them before he showed up but he is programmed to say that either way. Sorry if this is long.
