  1. I wonder if her previous owners fed her non-meat protein in a misguided attempt at vegetarianism this kind of blindness and disability is typical of bad nutrition in particular a non-animal protein diet

  2. Nice job on the food regimen! One of my family cats weighs 16.7 lb and she’s always been part of a multicat household ever since we adopted her, so it’s been difficult to keep her from overeating. She has arthritis as well so she doesn’t like to move around much (she won’t go downstairs anymore) and she walks on the flats of her feet instead of on her toes like a healthy cat. We give her arthritis medication and we’re struggling to figure out how to get her to lose weight. So far we’ve resorted to putting our other cat Pekoe’s food out of the way when he’s finished so she won’t eat it.

P.S. You should get another little old lady cat—an orange tabby, perhaps?—and name her Lucy. 😄
