  1. I bet that Policeman who walked away from them playing on the tree had sleepless nights wishing he had took them home. I would have thought he would have asked were they were from and how far away.

  2. No wonder they cant find who did the Arsen that Police detective seems to be a proper dopey idiot. He has no concern in his manner at all. this is about 2 children not a fucking guy folks night fire for god sake!!

  3. A local drug addict got life for Marion’s murder ,same bloke knocking on doors for directions for non existent road ,she was killed in her hallway ,so sad 😢

  4. Update on cases covered:

    Gary Collins – Unsolved.
Robert and Louise Goble – Unsolved.
Karen Hadaway and Nicola Fellows – Solved. Known as the ‘Babes in the Woods’ murders. Local roofer Russell Bishop, 20 years old at the time, was ultimately found guilty of the murders. He was initially tried and acquitted in 1987, but was convicted in a second trial over 30 years late in December 2018 and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Marion Rilka – Solved. Local man, Gary Gregory, an opportunist drug addict, was convicted of the murder in late 1992 and was sentenced to life. He knocked on her door asking for directions to Harmsworth Road, a non-existent street. It transpired Gregory had knocked on several doors asking the same question. Gregory hailed from Hangleton, Hove, not far from Harmsworth Crescent.
Nicola and Harry Fuller – Solved. Stephen Young, an insurance consultant from nearby Pembury in Kent, was convicted of the murders. Mr Young was a gun enthusiast and had shot the couple as part of a plan to rob Mr Fuller to offset huge personal and business debts. The tape recording was instrumental in identifying Mr Young as the killer – his voice on the tape recording was recognised.
    Bobby Jones – Unsolved.
Richard Watson – Unsolved. Number of theories posited for the murder including that it was linked to dealings in stolen computer chips. The suspected hitman was connected to another local murder attempt.
Clare Letchford and Beryl O’Connor – Solved. Graham Fisher, a patient at Broadmoor, confessed to the murders in 2010. Fisher was said to have targeted lonely women in order to satisfy “sexually sadistic” aspects of his personality. He was transferred to Broadmoor part-way through serving a five-year jail term for assaulting two Spanish students at knifepoint in May 1998.
Keith Lyon – Unsolved. Police were able to extract a DNA sample many years later from evidence related to the case but this does not match to anyone in the national DNA database.
Sarah Payne – Solved. Roy Whiting was convicted of Sarah’s abduction and murder in 2001 and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Jean Barnes – Solved. As noted in the episode. Described as an ‘odd job man’, David Munley was sentenced to life imprisonment for Jean’s murder. He lived 240 yards away from Ms Barnes and systematically burgled from her – both before and after the murder – and sold the haul in antiques shops.

  5. 1:00:34 sooo chilling how when Jill Dando starts explaining how “Richard had been killed at close range by an assassin” would soon become thee exact same way her life would be tragically cut soooo short 😢
