The 2013 El Reno, Oklahoma Tornado that took the lives of eight people and four storm chasers. The El Reno tornado might be the scariest storm ever witnessed. Despite this, it had little damage and so it was classified as an EF3, despite its strong winds and size. This is to date the largest tornado that has ever existed and certainly caught on film. At its peak it was 2.6 miles wide. The entire cell came down and spawned multiple subvortices that orbited around the tornado. The subvortices contained the strongest wind speeds at 302 mph, one of the strongest recorded wind speeds of any known tornado. the storm ballooned so quickly that many storm chasers who were close to the initial funnel found themselves trapped within the tornado and struggling to escape. It was actually one of the subcortices that took the life of Tim Samaras and his team. R.I.P.

Bro this is the day when I was born in this day and this year bro 💀
If this storm hit the city every single one is dead.
It should have been ef5
Some people say it was 4.2 miles wide
If that thing hit mo- i mean ok city things 2oeuld be kdiffetent
This is what the movie twister is based off of
302mph is 486kmh which is almost the speed of the biggest tsunami💀
HOLY TWISTER
Rip 5 storm chasers (NOT ME YOU SEE ME ALIVE XD)anyways i was in Oklahoma:form date: May 31 2013 6:04 EF5 (it should be EF6 if it will exist)
Only 8 people? calls god god why are your tornadoes not as deadly as they look?
I was born on 2013….
This was a day after my birthday….
brooo while people were singing happy birthday to me, people are literally getting killed and living a nightmare
God dam I’m happy I live in a town with no tornadoes
And yet caseoh is still bigger
l' Noa de la casa de árbol de la casa de árbol ??????
I hate having to go back again and again because the explanation and information are shared on top of the video far too fast
Your not right it's 2.5mmiles
VER CHINA 2025 AMIN.
Did they evacuate near citys as precaution? or can they know that it will stop?

It would have been nice if we could have actually seen the tornado versus having to read something superimposed over the tornado so this video was a no go. Why even post a video of a tornado if you're not going to make it so people can see it?
That's sad news that people died but it could've been a lot more casualties.

I know it’s the El Reno tornado😊

Bro this day was when I was born
More explanation from the story to add: As the El Reno tornado (EF-3) started to ascend to 3 storm chasers Tim Samaras (prof. Storm chaser) and his two sons (I think) many stork chasers had gathered for this cell because it was very interesting (and powerful) as the supercell ascended to the ground (this means it’s a full tornado) it was very unpredictable because of its large size. Tim S. And his team found them surrounded with debris (at this time it was 70+ mph wind gusts) but luckily got out of it. After a while Tim’s team was recording the wide tornado,BUT they never knew it was heading directly for them (bc of its unpredictable size as I said). They then realized winds and hvy.rain was picking up,so they got in they’re car. Like I said, many storm chasers were there right? Well many people tried escaping because it was a MONSTER. That means that there was a traffic jam (the worst scenario when there’s a twister/tornado because your waiting for it). Unfortunately because of the highway jam a family of 2 died.. and I think one of the parents survived but whatever. Now that means the death toll is now 3. As Tim’s team saw a road, they wanted a better view. That’s exactly what they needed… but meanwhile the tornados width started rapidly intensifying and reached a outrages 2.6 MI. In width. As one of the crew members insisted that they should go get a better view (one of the worst decisions ever) Tim agreed. As they approached the tornado (they didn’t even know) they were ready to take action and take photos and videos. And at this time they realized… they were in the path…
At now it was too late,as the team got in the car it was already 100+ mph wind speeds.Due to the damaging debris and winds the car flipped. You could hear the roaring winds and debris smacking the car, this would mean that this was Tim’s final moments… Tim Samaras and his crew were unalived. This means this is the saddest moments in history of storm chasing timeline.
Fun facts (not even fun😐): the date was May 23,2013
Tim’s final moments won’t ever be released (for respect)
If they would have gone east they would be her today.
As you may know (Reed Timmer) was one of those (many chasers) who gathered and he didn’t die too.
The end.
Now this real incident is now on movie search for twister's movie on internet this is also based on Oklahoma and four chasers also died
