New South Wales to boost response to natural disasters

The New South Wales government is exploring new measures to enhance its disaster response capabilities including drones, amphibious cars, and unmanned vessels.

The concept was introduced during a State Emergency Services trial in November.

The Rural Fire Service has received $3 million for a two-year technology development program to aid firefighters.
