12. The pressure cooker in the video confuses me a little bit. I’ve been using pressure cookers for about 60 years and have never had one blow up on me. At first I thought they tried to open it before the pressure had been released but the rocker pressure release top had been removed and it appeared that no more steam was coming out so it should have been safe to open. I couldn’t see if they had removed it from a hot burner or if there was another release valve that indicated that it was safe to open. But again, there was no more steam coming out of the rocker stem. I’ve had a lid stick like that and it was almost impossible to open, but letting it sit to cool a few more minutes resolved that issue. They shouldn’t have tried to force the lid open.

22. That's right folks, never, ever open a hot pressure cooker without releasing the pressure first. Do your homework, or at least read the instructions, before trying to use something new.
    That must have been an older cooker because the newer ones are pretty much idiot proof now because of people like this.
