25. I snowboard and wear wrist guards, im not a pro, but I'd say im decent enough wjere I don't "need" them. My first day of my first season i sprained my wrist, so i got one and never stopped wearing it. Like, at what point do i go "i'll risk ending the season (or cutting it short) because im too cool to wear a small piece of plastic on my wrist"?

27. Horse riding. No one had helmets in my day. Only hats. Today, all the kids wear helmets.
