Nizwa is an ancient city in Oman, known especially for the Nizwa Fort, history, dates, palm tree oasis, and unique food. Today we’ll be walking around and exploring Nizwa, Oman, and discovering why this city is worth visiting.

Al Gatheeb Oman Sweets – One of the most famous Omani traditional sweets is halfway, and everyone loves it. It’s a combination of sugar and starch melted down with spices, nuts, and ghee, and stirred for 4 hours. The texture is so soft of pillowy and melts in your mouth with the flavor of saffron and cardamom. It’s really an art, and something extremely special you have to try in Oman.
Nizwa Fort – This was totally unexpected, but at the Nizwa Fort we met with Mohsin Ambusaidi, who not only took us for an amazing tour, but also invited us to have a home-cooked lunch right at the fort. It was an unforgettable experience!
Al Aqur Restaurant – Next up on this Omani food tour in Nizwa, we had lunch number two.
Omani Street Food – In the evening, you’ll find some of the best Omani street food in Nizwa in the parking lot just outside the old city. We tried a number of local soups, snacks, and definitely some camel mishkak!

Thank you sir for inviting me to go on a trip to Oman
اسلام و علیکم ماشااللہ آپ کے مختلف مقامات علاقوں اور ممالک کے کھانے متعارف کروا تے ہیں جو دیکھ کر بہت اچھا لگتا ھے 🌹🇵🇰
Why using spoon wth the fork?????
Thanks for Showing! From now on I will never eat anything like that from the region . Copper is rather soft metal, and during hours of stirring and scratching a copper bowl, there is a Lot of metal being scraped and leached out into the food mixture . Nobody analyzes a copper content!. Thank you, but No…..
No head swing, those who know.. that means food has average taste. Just nodded. 😮
Welcome to Nizwa 🤝💙💙💙
Muslim countries are the best, warm friendly and CIVILISED unlike racist very negative unwelcoming uncivilised west. Also these countries just puts the west to a shame, really flips the narrative whims 'uncivilized' the uncivilised west.
My second home Oman❤❤❤❤❤ being an Indian 🇮🇳 , more love and respect to Oman.🇴🇲
20:15 I am not convinced that they didn't try and make it too spicy for him and he just powered through it. The guy looks disappointed after Mark eats the pepper. Pretty sure he was expecting a break down.

I wanna go there
Nice. 👍
I have lived and spent my childhood in Oman, Muscat specifically from 94' till 2000. Have nothing but lovely fond memories there. Have always been wanting to revisit Oman as an adult, just to relive the memories, one day for sure In Sha Allah. But this is nice too, feeling nostalgic seeing all the delicious Omani food
Love from Malaysia.
The Omani people have to be the kindest and most welcoming people in the world. That statement is based solely on watching videos and documentaries, not personal experience. So if you could compare camel meat to another mainstream meat what would it resemble? And dont say it tastes like chicken. 🤣
doesn't look like Mark really enjoyed the oman food trip. none of the videos from oman had that "on cloud 9 " usual mark expression while tasting food.

That was so sweet of that gentleman at the fort to serve you lunch. He knew all your favorite things, too… fish, zucchini, okra, and of course chilis. You seemed really happy, though smiling through the tears.😂🌶
