
Civil engineering doctoral student Javed Ali explains how his research using machine learning weather and climatic drivers linked to natural disasters to develop an impact-based approach to better understand where and when these multi-hazards have happened in the U.S. Ultimately, this research should help us improve disaster risk assessments and enhance emergency response.
