10. My family moved from Tanzania to the U.S., but one of my sisters stayed behind in a town about 40 kilometres away. I had a basenji named Chui, and I had to give him to our neighbour. Somehow, Chui managed to leave my neighbour’s place and made the journey of over 40 kilometres to my sister’s house, looking for us. It’s funny because Chui didn’t even like my sister, and she was never a fan of dogs. Once he realized we weren't there, he just hung out at her place. Eventually, one of my nephews started taking care of him until he passed away.

40. Always be sceptical of animal rescue videos. someone could have ditches the poppy outside, then mom dog found it to bring it too the "funny enough other poppy" that was shown in the cardboard box 🤔
