  1. If you ask a Dog with a threatening life condition would you like to stop this life you are suffering, the answer will be, "I want to live and be with you, my family." Dogs are stoic and don't self-pity. They live in the now doing their best for their family or if alone for themselves.
When a Dog is ready to die they shut down and do not respond to medical treatment.
    And then you grieve.

My Chi, adopted from an overcrowded kill "shelter" had cancer and a 6 month sentence. I said let me give him the great life he never had. He was so abused. So they did. That was March 2019. Today January 30, 2025 he's napping by his window with his stuffed lambchop bigger than he. His walks are in his stroller. I am his happy slave cooking his healthy organic diet and providing the holistic care, sun, pure water, soaks, massages and exercise needed. My Puggy Girl's life ended when a vet gave her the wrong meds. She was my heart. The new Vet now provides pain meds when needed and that's the only chemicals or med my Chi takes. The cancer goes in and out of remission and my brave boy still walks and plays a little but he's a short distance performer now. He's happy, loving and eats with gusto. Just sleeps more and has become velcro. It's not that I did a good thing. It's that I was given an opportunity to experience another lesson in the power of love. I am the one blessed❤

  2. The fact that this pup came from a breeder is no surprise to me. Typically they don’t breed the “best” with the “best”. They breed the “unsellable” with the “unsellable”.
