25. Sea turtles also sleep on the ocean floor, so I can’t help but think the barnacles offer some measure of camouflage. Has any real study been done to see just how much effect the barnacles have on the fluid dynamics of the turtle? It’s one thing to swim with less resistance and another to being eaten because you stick out like a sore thumb!
