She needed help feeding her babies — so a mama Newfoundland stepped in to help 🩷🩷🩷
We talked to Emily about rescuing Pretzel in the middle of nowhere, and how she couldn’t believe it when Pretzel let this huge dog feed her babies!

That's a lovely story. We had a cow that would feed any calves that weren't getting enough milk, or really, any calf that came near her. She was a crossbred part Angus, part something, and she was the quietest cow you could imagine.
Very much like the Newfoundland here!

The mother feels sad when her babies are taken just like a human would be. They mourn loss. Let the parent animals keep their babies 😭

That’s the middle of nowhere, a dog doesn’t just wonder out there, she was dumped and the “owners” were hoping she’d succumb to the elements along with her puppies, I have no words for those demons that Rome this earth 🤬
But I’m relieved to see mama and the babies are all doing well ❤

as SOOOON as I heard the other mama was a Newfie… my heart SOARED..
let me tell u… these DOGS were MEANT to be nannie’s… we had one & I swore on my life, I would never get another UNLESS I had kids or worked with kids… I cannot express just HOW much these dogs, specially the females ADORE kids!! whether their human or pups… doesn’t matter…
she would literally PULL us to our neighbors house & SWOON over their daughter…
even in her last days … she was too weak to stand, we had to take the trip to the vet for her to cross that rainbow bridge … she literally BUCKED off the stretcher we had her on & started trying to pull herself /dragging herself towards that house to say bye..

I hope wherever she is… she’s watchin & playin with all the babies now.
