Someone wicked person had that poor dog locked up at home living like this. Then dumped her. She could hardly walk with thise mats so wasn't a stray. Poor girl, she looks older but did she say she was only about 2 years?? I'm delighted she's safe thank you.

What breed is Sprout? She looks like a golden retriever but idk what the other coloring is.
She looks beautiful now,you have all done such a good job,she looks so well cared for, healthy et well loved,she must have suffered before she was rescued with all that matting on her. I was so glad to hear you say "sedated grooming" I see on so many rescue channels for dogs ,cats, sheep etc that they groom these highly anxious and physically in-pain animals without sedation. It just seems cruel to me.

Thank you helpers for the love and compassion you have given Sprout. You ALL have big hearts for the work you do. I am so glad that she was saved. No dog should be left to fall apart. Nowadays if ppl don’t want their pls hand them over to no-kill shelters at least they will get the loving care they deserve!!!
I will be amazed if the foster family can manage to resist keeping her for themselves. They seemed very much in love with this cutie pie already. If they can, she'll be safe till the right folks are found who deserve her. If not, she's with a family who already knows and loves her. A win for her either way.
