This dog mother was very afraid of humans but her puppies have been discovered in a bush and since they are so cute, people kept coming to feed them. Due to her fear, whenever humans are around, she wouldn’t dare to approach her puppies which was very often. She would only come to feed her puppies when the humans were gone.
One lady decided to rescue the entire dog family and upon retrieving the puppies, she noticed that at least 1 puppy was gone. Someone must have taken it or the dog mother had removed the puppy.
The dog mother started barking in the distance upon seeing her children being retrieved. She kept her distance for a while but ultimately approached despite her fear. But since her puppies were already inside a cage, she ran away.
Animal rescue workers were able to find her nest and tranquilize her. Even after being shot, she kept going. It’s believed that she wouldn’t let herself fall asleep because she was thinking about her dogs.
They were able to put her inside a cage after she eventually fall down. She stopped struggling after she was taken to a shelter where she must have realized the humans were there to help. She has lost one eye to something unknown. It’s probably the reason she was so afraid of humans.
After they get better, they will be adopted. The puppies will stay with their mom for some time until they are old enough. This took place in mid October of 2024.
