This is honestly pretty distasteful to anybody who is involved in any of those actual tragedies not just some bug or some funny little animal.
Also, idk why 9/11 isn't on this list. That's the only event in my lifetime that truly rocked my world and terrified me. I was 13 and so scared my step-mom got a map so she could explain it a bit more with some geography lessons.

BLM riots
The scariest moment for me was when my husband and I had just sat down to lunch to watch the noon news when a breaking news alert came on. There was a school shooting and come to find out, it was at my 2 daughter’s middle school. This was on all the Detroit news stations and we lived in a little town north of Detroit. Thankfully, my daughters were safe even though one of them was in the room next to where the shooting took place.
