  1. What do you think about practicing oblique kicks/teeps to the knee/knee stomps for self defense? Khalil rountree and jon jones have used this in mma and it seems like a really safe (for the defender) way to shut down an attacker. Of course you can’t practice this in sparring without risking damage to your partners knee, but what about on the heavy bag? Most guys on the street who would start a problem are probably going to be in a boxing stance with the front leg far forward which would put them in perfect range for a knee stomp/teep/oblique.

  2. Should add the inside elbows, “funn saok” left saok, right saok pertaining to when someone grabs a hold of the victem while not being able to let lose,

  3. I have been training Muay Thai for a long while. And I always tell my Wife. I hope I never have to use it on the street. But I have it. If I need it. Also. I occasionally train in Dutch Kickboxing. For these purposes… But again. I pray to God I never need to use it to defend my family
