  1. More than 45% of Rorrweilers die from cancer. Please consider this fact and adopt responsibly. Please note than pure bred dogs have significantly more health issues than mixed breeds due to their popularity and pressure to meet high demand which exacerbates unethical and harmful breeding practices.

  2. Such an underwhelming over rated doggo. There just Taz from the cartoons and if you must have one with tail forget it.

You know how many animals are born running like they just know everything instantly. Rotweiler are the opposite with there tails. They forgot that thing long ago and want to leave it forgotten. They have 0 control over the thing. And it will brush the kids aside. Like a bus wiper clears any table it stands near.

  3. Unfortunately these are the kind of dogs that are most taken to the shelter. It’s so sad, do your research before getting a dog. It has to be for a lifetime. Think about your space, and how much time you have to take care of it. They are not decoration, they are like having another child! The time, the money u have to put into it.

  4. Saw a stranger walking a young rotty the other day. I asked how old the rott was and said mine was 2 1/2 yrs old. He asked when they will start to calm down. I told him at 2 years usually. He stomach curled.

  5. I have video proof of this. My buddy had a 80 LB ROT and he would get loose at night out here in the Desert and he would chase all the cows away. He would go head to head with a Bull and he would chase off all Coyotes. This dog, (Buddy) was a BADASS.

  6. They used to use these dogs to protect carts full of meat.

The dog was loyal enough to guard open piles of raw meat.

They are an absolute handful and can be expensive to buy and take care of.

Also those tails are a newer feature to them and you can expect them to be wagging quite a lot.
