20. Tig welding and in some cases mig welding plasma cut parts can sometimes weld poorly due to the nitride edge the plasma cutter leave behind due to using compressed air for the plasma cutters compressed gas. It's more noticeable with tig welding.
    But even if the plasma cut edge looks clean, the edge should be sanded in order to help remove the nitride edge. It's called nitriding.
    So don't feel bad if the welding didn't go as expected. It turned out nicely overall.

    It's not really practical to use argon for the plasma cutters compressed gas unless you're doing some critical components

I have to skip through many videos now…including SickWeek 2025 because there is too much fluff and not enough racing. It is always great to hear about racers and their cars, but solid chunks of straight racing would be much appreciated!
