  1. I know this sounds corny but I would love to have Don as a seat mate for a transcontinental flight. I could listen to his SEALS stories forever. And here’s a thought Don (if you’re reading this). Sign up with a speakers bureau. I think it would be outstanding to go on a cruise, say, on either Seabourn or Silver Seas and listen to you giving a lecture. You have such an incredible wealth of knowledge and experiences that most people can only dream about. You are one of the best things to happen to YouTube.

  5. my first time I was 5 and a bullet hit tree few inches above my head, a hunter thought I was a deer. My grandpa carried that man to his truck by his throat, his feet never touched the ground. I wasn't supposed to be in the woods on that side of the property, thought I was gonna have a second close call.

  6. Former Alaskan here, if you "Beat the Mountain/weather", then that means you've got more to do in life.. 👍
In the old days, "Bar's" weren't like your typical Bar, so to speak. It was basically a community center centered around the people not just alcohol.
I was in "Tip's Bar" in Eagle River back in late 76 eating some of the best wild game that I've ever tasted, treated like family and if anyone ever had a common sense need it was taken care of. 🫎

  7. 21 years military nurse here with many deployments. I came close to death many times.
My dad jokes aren't the best and my co-workers said they would finish me if I told another one.
