  1. I am 77 now so only drive local. Too many young idiots speeding and getting points. Get rid of points and if speeding a lot over the limit 12 month ban . 90% of accidents crashes are caused by sober people. I am not condoning drink & drug driving. Just stating facts.

  2. I like watching these UK cop shows because it’s so much different than here in the US they are so polite and sometimes more serious or just different 😂

  3. The elderly fella with the Peugeot… Camera angle showed glare on the number plate of the police car and the last two digits were not visible at distance 😅. I do agree that a re-test is a gud idea at a certain age 👍 Grandad post war driving privileges 🤣 I've heard some non political chitter chatter before 🤣

  4. They should do what hgv drivers have to do after 65 ,have a medical annually at the age of 70 and its not just older drivers i have been behind plenty of younger drivers that cannot see where they are going at night maybe mandatory eye tests for everyone every 5 years

  5. “I’m a careful driver because when I’ve got no insurance , I’ve gotta look out for everybody else!” 😂 Brilliant!

  6. bollocks bless him, total respect to the officers they were so polite professional with old jimmy but with respect jimmy its time to give up your license for your safety and the safety of other road users, too old to climb gates not too old to climb and illegally enter the property without a warrant or the owners permission?

  7. Oh yes! it was much safer for the driver who was tired to keep driving and fall asleep than pulling onto the shoulder of the road. The driver did the right thing but the cops would have been happier if he had fallen asleep at the wheel while driving at 70MPH. So the message we are to get from this little episode is if you are tired, keep driving and don't stop until you run into something or someone.

  8. during my 45-odd years of working abroard and in many different parts of the world and talking to the various natives, I have learnt that British people have got the reputation of " not being the brightest of people" and after watching this programe/footage,and listening to the rsole drivers who are using the road , its really not to difficult to see just WHY and HOW british people have this un-enviable reputation !!

  9. In my country they place concrete blocks between oncoming highway lanes. This would more easily prevent fatal accidents like that near the end of this episode.

  10. The police officer said that he opened the car door and switched off the engine. I am a first aider, I was hit by a car reversing along the pavement, I discovered the driver was medically unfit to hold a driving license and was having an epileptic fit. I switced off the engine and removed the keys following training. I got arrested for suspicion of robbery, before I could make a report to the police.
It turned out the driver was a serial hit and run driver who'd repeatedly hit pedestrians while reversing on the pavement. There was damage to the rear near side wing consistent with hitting pedestrians. He had no insurance, he couldn't see out of the rear or side windows of his car or use any of the mirrors, because he got me arrested and later dropped the charges he went on to continue hitting pedestrians with his car. Why are the pollice so incompetent in Britain?

  11. What do we pay our taxes for? So old blokes like this get social help, not coppers saying he is lucky not to be dragged out of his own car, thanks to your local filth. Remember if you get to be 93 and get confused you will be taken down the nick & interrogated by the local filth. In europe where I lived for 20 years they would've helped him not pathetic lectures by uneducated worthless 'police'. BTW my dad drove til he was 94, dangerous? You know it, Aware of other road users? No way Pedro. DVLA, medical centre, filth, local council….don't bother us we're occupied

  12. I think a fast retest by let say police with prof of fit to drive by your doctor, at 60 yrs old for all this in its self will take some. Off road , we all kno some people defo shouldn’t drive because of ill health . I don’t think any normal driver would disagree.

  13. In The Netherlands after the age of 75 your license is only valid for 5 years and to renew your license you have to get a health checkup from your GP. I don't think this old man would still have had his license if these rules had been in place in the UK (don't know if they changed the rules since this show aired)

  14. Poor Jimmy! His Age, Night Time, Bad Weather, Wrong Turn Then The Hard Shoulder Is On The Wrong Side Of The Road.. It could happen 2 somebody half his age.. As He Said Bollocks! 😂😂😂…

  15. The word you sought was ‘offence’ rather than “offense “ and there was no “invasion”. Police were legally entitled to enter the house in pursuit of a suspect. OMG isn’t an expression commonly used in the UK. That and your challenges with English language literacy, initially suggested you might be US Americans.

  16. When I hit 70, I handed my license in at the Traffic Department. I realize that my reactions were slowed down and I was a danger to myself and others. Difficult decision but I think the right one. As we age we have to realize that our reactions are slowed down. There are always taxis. Much safer for everybody. It is a loss of independence, but age gets to us all!! Live from South Africa!❤

  17. Harsh as some may perceive this to be – there shouldn't be any 93 year old still driving. Licenses should be revoked at an age that is deemed to be fair – which IMHO would be at some point north of 80-85. It's just common sense.
