If he don't move when he's outside, well, that could be an indicator that he has got bad hips and are in pain (which is very regular amongst bigger breeds). Could also be dog artosis.
Should prolly ceck that out if not done already.
I miss mine Iv had 3 bull mastiff in my life and my life has been better for it , fantastic nature and loving , and they always think this are a lap dog , Iv got two Doug de Bordeaux, very different nature, if anyone wants a big dog I’d recommend bull mastiff every day but the French mastill takes a strong personality to keep them in check, , loved your video still miss mine every day , 🫶🏼

Yes, very sweet and lovable…unfortunately, it is a mistake and very poor judgement to allow a big dog to jump up. It can easily bowl over anybody new who's not expecting it, and these days it seems like one out of every 2 people you encounter is scared of dogs in general. I have a bernedoodle that's probably just 1/4 the size and weight of this mastiff, but even he can cause a problem or scare somebody, to say nothing of scratching people even if he doesn't knock them over, or make them slip backwards down stairs.
It's just not a good idea, and sorry to say, very lazy or even failed training to allow this.

My buddy has a mastiff st Bernard mix and she is massive. She looks very intimidating but she is just one big marshmallow.
Such a sweet looking dog. Big puppy is a great description of him.
The big ones are always more chill.
