Trooper’s Report:
On March 10, 2025, while traveling southbound on I-540 near the 6-mile marker at 10:52 AM, I was advised over the radio by
another trooper of a silver Chevrolet Malibu traveling northbound from the 12-mile marker at a speed of 105 mph. I activated
my emergency lights and sirens to proceed to the 8-mile marker, where I positioned myself at the northbound on-ramp from
Rogers Avenue to intercept the vehicle.
As I was headed to the 8MM, another trooper reported that the suspect vehicle was passing the Old Greenwood overpass still
at a high rate of speed. As I was positioning me vehicle on the shoulder of the 8MM NB on-ramp, I observed the Malibu
traveling at a high rate of speed, maneuvering aggressively by splitting between lanes in front of a FedEx truck and a pickup
truck. I activated my emergency lights and sirens and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. However, the vehicle continued at
speeds of up to 110 mph, showing no indication of stopping.
Due to the suspect’s reckless manner of driving and failure to yield, I utilized the passenger side of my push bumper to make
contact with the rear driver’s side of the Malibu, performing a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) just after the 6MM NB. The
vehicle left the roadway and came to a final stop in the median on the left side of the interstate. I conducted a felony stop and
was able to take the driver, identified as Jennifer Hampton-Higgins, into custody without further incident.
Ms. Hampton-Higgins stated that she was traveling to Nelson Hall Homes after receiving a call from her employer, informing
her that a patient was about to pass away. I explained to her that this did not justify endangering the lives of others on the
roadway.
John’s Wrecker Service was dispatched to take possession of the vehicle.
During the inventory search, officers located a silver
box, a pink box, and a wallet. Inside the boxes, I discovered approximately one pound of suspected marijuana and 65.5 grams
of Hydrocodone. Additionally, $2,108 in cash was found alongside the narcotics. An ASP-2 Property Form was completed, and
all narcotics and money were seized and transferred to the 12th/21st Drug Task Force for further investigation.
Ms. Hampton-Higgins declined medical treatment from EMS and was transported to the Sebastian County Adult Detention
Center (SCADC). Upon arrival, she was refused by jail staff. I then transported her to Baptist Health-Fort Smith, where she was
medically cleared with no reported injuries. Following medical clearance, she was booked into SCADC on the following

Said she was refused by jail staff. Makes me wonder why?
What drug was he on ?
Wat a pos. She said someone is dying. Ur supposed to escort her there not b a complete piece of shit. He's 1 of the cops that thinks they can do no wrong
Don’t you know, a caregiver with their hazards on is the same as an ambulance running code.😂
I'm doing everything I can to NEVER have to go into nursing home.
A POUND? What a 'dope'. Might be a few more stashed on her, but nobody wants to do THAT search.
That was one of the smoothest TVI’s!
and a POUND of marijuana was totally part of her first aid kit
SUUURE! 🤡
The usl has become a very bad place to live
A nursing home nurse on drugs? Say it ain't so! (Sarcasm)
Outstanding job officer Roam! Incredibly well executed PITT in a high risk environment. One of the cleanest I've seen. Promote this trooper!
I understand the concept of doing this, but when there's to much traffic it isn't safe!
What the blue blazes is she wearing?
Love the content. 👍
She is a MAJOR idiot !!!
I guess her dying patient needed to hurry up and smoke some marijuana before they passed away. Ha! It amazes me how people can come up with these stupid stories just to try to get out of trouble.
She had a spare tire around her waste, That's cool.
Deport this druggy to ukraine, I hear ol' zelensky needs a new supplier. 😛
I was "dying" from her excuse! 🤣
This woman should lose whatever medical license she has as well as do some real time behind bars.
The stethoscope was a nice touch
Great job Trooper Roam, that was one smooth PIT!!!
Please please don't find the drugs in my car.
So how many people are you willing to kill just to see one patient ????? Definitely needs to rethink her life choices 🙄🙄
To the morons defending her. Just remember cops are usually first on the scene when a scum bag like this druggie causes a serious accident.
your local "drug supplier" on "speed" dial….pathetic….get a JOB woman…..but only after you're back out from prison.
Does everyone have drugs in their car?😞
Cops don’t give a damn about anything but chasing cars like they are 5 years old
i`d rather die than be her `patient`….
Very smooth PIT. That taped plastic over the passenger-side window speaks volumes.
So basically the black guy she is with, because nobody else would want her, needed his drugs to sell and the money she had left from the sale.
If your patient is dead, there’s no need to be speeding!!! 😮
Well, well, well…. She's just making America great again. 😂😂😂
Where are the " Usual Suspect" commenters?
She's rushing to her place of employment due to a medical emergency, ill call bs on that. EMS should have been called and would be there quicker to deal with whatever. NO employer is going to expect someone to drive 110mph to get to work for an emergency. If EMS is already there what would be the purpose in her hauling butt like that?
So ends the nursing career of Nurse Doper… 🤔👍🤣😳😱😬🥴😵💫💊💉🚬
She ALMOST got away. Not. What is with people thinking they can get away from ASP?
Usual suspects
