  1. The highway connecting Zeerust and Mahikeng, as well as Mahikeng and Lichtenburg is very notorious for the amount of fatal accidents that occur each year. I have a friend who was a paramedic in Mahikeng and she mentioned that the accidents were 1. Very frequent (higher than average), 2. Always fatal, and 3. Very graphic. I have family that go WAY BACK that farmed and grew up in Zeerust. As children their parents would always remind them that they were not alone on the farm. Many evenings the sound of British troops could be heard scuffling and moving in the corn fields. Many English wre killed in that area. Not sure if this could be the reason for the death rates in the area, just thought I would mention it.

  2. To enthusiastic ghost hunters be fully aware of your surroundings driving Spine Road Mitchells Plain at night, and unless you want to be the subject of the next ghost story it's not advisable to stop. 💀🇿🇦

  3. Another haunted road is The De Deur Ghost which is a light orb on De Deur road Walkerville Johannesburg, the story goes that the headless ghost rider is activated by flashing your headlights three times. This is a well known urban legend is Walkerville.
