Story 2…Spookdraai does not translate to Ghost Corner but Ghost Turn…
The highway connecting Zeerust and Mahikeng, as well as Mahikeng and Lichtenburg is very notorious for the amount of fatal accidents that occur each year. I have a friend who was a paramedic in Mahikeng and she mentioned that the accidents were 1. Very frequent (higher than average), 2. Always fatal, and 3. Very graphic. I have family that go WAY BACK that farmed and grew up in Zeerust. As children their parents would always remind them that they were not alone on the farm. Many evenings the sound of British troops could be heard scuffling and moving in the corn fields. Many English wre killed in that area. Not sure if this could be the reason for the death rates in the area, just thought I would mention it.
I would love to watch this until the end, but the narrator's voice is highly irritating 🤦🏽♀️
Please drop the long history lessons. Yuk
