I don't think Mothman dose that sorta thing, Mothman is more of a friendly being I think, I know this being Is around just before a disaster happens which some say he comes to warm ppl so they can save themselves but he also could be around not to warn ppl but he comes to actually cause the disasters that kill ppl? Idk tho but I hadn't heard of him doing anything like this story said
