Definitely one of our easier seal rescues! The team spot the entangled seal, they jump over the barrier at the walkway, Naude grabs the entangled animal, and Wally cuts a piece of old packaging strap off the seal’s neck. There is no scar or any other visible sign of injury, and the seal will never know how dangerous his situation was. He is strong and healthy and will hopefully live a long and undisturbed life. Very few animals are disturbed during the rescue and the team moves on to the next animal in need.

Thank you very much for supporting our work!
Feeling a bit dirty at YT right now.. Suddenly occured to me that I hadn't seen any seal rescues in a while.. And upon investigation I find I'm no longer subbed and missed a pile of great vids. Anyway, great to see the channel going strong.. I'm off to do a catchup.
why do the seals sound like sheep hahahah
The other day Joe Biden wandered off and when they found him he too had a packaging strap around his neck! Small world.

He took off like a rocket. Lol
God bless
Feisty little guy!
Great seal rescue
That's got to be the fastest rescue I've ever seen. Great job.
Catch, fix, release in under 2 minutes.!
Pretty good.
I still think that, if the seal hesitates, you should show it the rope/strap/etc. If it hurries off, then show the strap to any others who were nearby. I really believe they will put 2 and 2 together and perhaps be less spooky around you guys.
Thank you guys for helping these animals bless you! You guys made my days๐ฅฐ
Naude, did your bite on your heal from the other day?
You guys are heroes! Bravo!
Leged has it he's still running. ๐คฃ
Was that Denzil in a seal costume ?? It ran away so fast !!!!!! lol
Holy cow, how many seals are there? Great job.
This is a job that males you fell good at the end of the day !
Thank You guys.
The seal is a runner
feisty little puppy! great job! ๐

Love how Wally just understands what Naude says when he asks him to "go down". That shows lots of collaboration and experience working as a team.
Cape Cross rescues always worry me – so glad this one didnโt involve running across those slippery rocks.
If only all the rescues were this simple.Great work guys. Thank you
If only eh lol. But OCN could not cope with easy r&r's ALL the time as we know they are as good with a challenge ๐ thanks for freeing this strong puppy team ๐๐๐

Howโs the guy that got bit on his hand.??
That was a healthy, chubby and strong puppy. There seems to be no major lack of fish this year.
"The pup is very impatient to resume his seal life…" ha ha ha! Yes, he is! His wonderful little seal life full of fish and cold surf and free from entanglements. Thank you guys! That went so smoothly. Such pros!

If Darwin was right at a certain point these seals will go to this tribe for help
What a rescue!
I love you guys.
You need an observation tower and have someone with a laser so they can point out the seal to the ground crew. Amazing work what you guys do!
You need a sports festival or special tours with such activities!!!
If only it were always so easy… good job guys… ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐๐
Is the sun ever out in Namibia?
The team's work with nets is always impressive, but running as fast as you can and then crouching over and grabbing a flipper is crazy. I'd tip over and face plant every time.
Kudos to OCN.
I wish I could be there watching from the walkway. But I'm afraid of flying!
that little guy was a sprinter. He looked much faster than most of the seals you catch and help. Great job again OCN !
I could watch yโall do this for hours!
